SIXTH ANNUAL ANN LIGUORI GOLF CLASSIC which benefits the American Cancer Society Westhampton CC, May, Monday 19th 2003
Ann Liguori with Aileen and Juan C. Juan, Committee Members | Westhampton Country Club: Participants came from all over the world to play in the 6th Annual Ann Liguori American Cancer Society Golf Classic. Beau Dietl from the 'Imus in the Morning' Show donated his table at Rios' to the live auction and was the highest bidder (inching out former NY Jet Jerry Philbin) to win the Irish Golf Trip for four. One of our Irish friends, Padraig Harris, a partner with "Travelling the Fairways," donated the golf package. Sponsors spent four days in The Hamptons, playing some of the top courses on the East End and dining in some of our top restaurants, including a VIP party at Duckwalk Vineyards in Water Mill, with Outback Steakhouse providing the fabulous food and a private dinner party at Ann's house. Each year we have a nice mixture of "regulars" who play along with new faces. Prizes included Club Glove bags, AT&T Wireless phones and service, Citizen watches and clubs from Hogan, Taylor Made and Tour Edge. Mark Rypien, two-time Superbowl Winner with the Redskins, shot 'even par' from Shinnecock the day prior to the tournament and led all in song at the VIP Party. |
