ANN LIGUORI TO JOIN
ADVISORY BOARD OF GREG NORMAN-DESIGNED COURSE IN IRELAND
NEW YORK, Dec. 5, 2001 - - Renowned sportscaster and author Ann Liguori
has been elected to the Advisory Board of Doonbeg Golf Club, a new Greg
Norman-designed course located in the west of Ireland. Liguori joins a prestigious
board that also includes Norman, George Mitchell, Jim Nantz, Jim Awtrey, Wayne
Huizenga, Johann Rupert and Sir Frank Lowe among others.
Liguori, who
resides in New York City and Long Island, is president of Ann Liguori Productions,
Inc. In this capacity, she owns, hosts and is executive producer of the long-running "Sports Innerview with Ann Liguori" television series; and is also one of
the original sports talk on-air personalities on New York's WFAN radio station,
where she still hosts a weekly live, five-hour interview and call-in show. In
addition, Liguori covers major golf and tennis tournaments for WFAN, and is also
the author of "A Passion for Golf, Celebrity Musings About the Game."

Norman, a two-time British Open champion, was selected to be the course
architect in view of both his design skill and his "least disturbance" philosophy
of routing courses to fit existing terrains, Liguori added.
Like many
traditional Irish links, Doonbeg Golf Club will be a private club with some public
play. International memberships are being offered, and there will also be a local
club component for Doonbeg-area residents. The course is expected to open for
play on April 1, 2002.
When complete, the site will contain luxury accommodations,
a leisure centre and a golf village with a pub, restaurant and golf shop - - all
in keeping with traditional Irish architecture found in the countryside. More
information can be found at www.doonbeggolfclub.com.
