Ann Liguori continues to shine as a leader and visionary in the world of sports media, uniquely showcasing her diverse talents and skills in radio, television and print; and as a celebrity spokesperson for a variety of companies.
Ann is the first woman to host a call-in sport's show on WFAN-New York, (the original all-sports radio station) where Ann hosted a sports talk show for over 20 years and continues as the station's golf and tennis correspondent at The Masters, the U.S. Open Golf Championships, the U.S. Open Tennis Championships, the P.G.A. Championships and at special competitions such as the Ryder Cup, Solheim Cup and The Olympics.
Ann was recently named the golf and tennis correspondent for CBS Sports Radio Network.
In addition to her pioneering career in sport’s radio, Ann has the distinction of being the Host, Executive Producer and Owner of ‘Sports Innerview with Ann Liguori,’ the longest-running cable sport’s show owned, hosted and produced by a woman. As the President of Ann Liguori Productions, Ann is an entrepreneur who owns an extensive library of her award-winning interview shows with sports legends such as Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Wilt Chamberlain, Sam Snead, Hank Aaron and Billie Jean King, to name a few.
Ann is also the first woman to host and produce her own weekly, prime-time series on The Golf Channel (TGC) which aired the first four years of TGC's inception. "Conversations with Ann Liguori" featured Ann interviewing top names in Hollywood, music, sports and business, while golfing with them. Guests included an ‘A List’ of celebrities such as Kevin Costner, Sylvester Stallone, Celine Dion, Vince Gill, Smokey Robinson, Joe Pesci, Matthew McConaughey, among others. The interviews focus on the celebrity’s success stories and their passion for golf.
Many of Ann’s TV interviews are compiled in her book, ‘A Passion for Golf, Celebrity Musings About the Game’ which came out in a second printing five years ago. Ann also narrated and produced the book into an audio book, ‘A Passion for Life, Celebrity Musings from the Fairways.’

Ann has covered six Olympics for the network radio rights holders (CBS Radio Sports, Westwood One) as a talk show host, a reporter for a variety of sports for both the Summer & Winter Games, and a play-by-play announcer for alpine skiing.
Ann was only the fourth female in the 52-year history of the Bob Hope Classic to play as a celebrity golfer when she played in the PGA Tour event in January, 2011. She played with eventual Master’s winner Bubba Watson on the second day of the tournament.
In 2001, Ann was the first woman in sports media honored with the Association for Women in Communication's Headliner's Award, previously given to Katherine Graham and Barbara Walters. Ann was honored with the 2012 Debbie Gibson Girls Humanitarian Award in May of 2012 and in June of 2012, was named one of the top forty women in sports media in the last forty years by the L.A. Daily News.
In addition to her entrepreneurial and philanthropic work, Ann is a media/marketing consultant for Independent Group Home Living (IGHL) and a corporate spokesperson and motivational speaker. Some of the companies Ann has worked with include Cross Golf USA, Bobby Jones Golf clubs, Taylor-Made Adidas and IZOD Club. Ann Liguori Productions has worked with dozens of companies in the sponsorship arena including Tourism Ireland, Sharp Electronics, Volvo, Danskin, Lincoln Mercury, Federal Express, Advil, McDonalds, Continental Airlines, Ashford Castle, Tralee Golf Club, Morgan Stanley, Kiawah Resort Development, Callaway Golf, Orlimar, Ping, SuperShuttle, Desert Mountain Properties, Aer Lingus, Rolex Jewelers, Callaway Golf, Select SPDRs, Tourism Ireland, Work Vessels for Veterans, SP Industries, Titanium Scaffold Services and CIT.
Five years ago, Ann founded the Ann Liguori Foundation to raise money for cancer prevention and cancer care. Each year, she hosts the Ann Liguori Foundation Charity Golf Classic. The tournament was held at the Maidstone Club three of the last four years and at Sebonack Golf Club in 2011. This year marked her 15th year for her charity golf classic.
Ann hosted this annual sold-out tournament at The Bridge, in Bridgehampton, NY. To date, the tournament has raised more than $1.3 million for various organizations that focus on cancer prevention, including the American Cancer Society.
Additionally, the Ann Liguori Foundation funds nutrition education assemblies in schools and camps on the East End of Long Island, teaching young people about good nutrition and fitness for over-all good health benefits. The core of this initiative is educating young people about the importance of good nutrition as a cancer preventative.
Despite Ann’s hectic schedule, she always finds time to play in numerous celebrity/charity golf tournaments throughout the year. Giving back is extremely important to Ann and playing a sport she loves, reconnecting with friends and meeting new ones at these events, is something she looks forward to.
A University of South Florida (USF) graduate, Ann serves on the USF Foundation Board where she has established an endowed scholarship in the College of Arts & Sciences in memory of her late brother Jim. She also serves on the Women’s Advisory Board of the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center; is on the Board of the Metropolitan Golf Writers Association (MGWA), is an Advisory Board Member for Doonbeg Golf Club in western Ireland and has served on the Board of Trustees for the National Academy of TV Arts and Sciences and the NY Chapter.
